Listed in 1911 Canada Census as resident of Levis, Quebec.

Awarded the Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in January 1944. Served as
Executive Assistant to the Honourable Charles G. Power. From 1921 to 1935
he was first employed as a mechanical draftsman and then with the CNR. Joined
the RCAF at the outset of WWII. In December 1941 he became Air Secretary, joining
"Chubby" Power who had become Minister of National Defence for Air. In 1945 he
was appointed Assistant Deputy Minister for Air and in 1946 he took over as Assistant Deputy Minister of National Defence. In 1950 he became Assistant Deputy Minister, Administration & Personnel.

Listing in July 1966 of Canadian Forces General Officers shows him as:
