The many friends and relatives here will learn with regret of the passing of Mr. Harvey W. Sharpe at Jeffrey Hale Hospital in Quebec City on Saturday, July 7th. Funeral services here were conducted Monday at St. Barnabas Chapel, Quebec, with the Rev. Chas. Campbell officiating. Funeral services here were conducted at the home of H.V. Ramsay on Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. by Rev. J.E. Munson, assisted by the Campbellton First United Church Choir. The hymns sung were "The Lord is My Shepherd" and "The Sands of Time are Sinking." Mr. Sharpe, who was in his 82nd year was born in Campbellton where he entered the service of the old Intercolonial Railway and by marked ability attainted the position of Superintendent of Motive Power and Car Equipment with headquarters at Quebec. Retiring some years ago he remained in Quebec City. The pallbearers were: A.H. Ingram, S.H. Jamieson, H.G. Millicam, A.J. Killam, J.T. Reid, J Bugold. Interment was in Campbellton Rural Cemetery
