Myrtle Purdy believes that Peter was born in Ireland. He claimed Liverpool,
supposedly on Jim Sharpe's advice, in order to claim old age pension.
Also understand that his mother's name was Alice Mullen.

Occupation was as a pipe fitter on the marriage record. Shown there as from Dublin Ireland.

Peter married Mary Alfretta Sharpe, daughter of Harvey Walter Sharpe and Malvina Smith, on 30 Sep 1912 in Chaudiere, Quebec.¹ (Mary Alfretta Sharpe was born on 28 Apr 1893 in Campbellton, New Brunswick, christened in Campbellton, New Brunswick, died on 21 Jun 1959 in Montreal, Québec and was buried in Montreal, Quebec-Mount Royal Cemetery.)
