General Notes:
Newspaper obit: Following a brief period of employment with the CNR he enlisted with the 12th Battery in Newcastle in 1916 and went overseas with the 65th Battery of Woodstock in 1917. He was commissioned a Lieutenant of the New Brunswick Dragoons in 1924. During WWII he served with the 81st Artillery Company RCA, V.G. of C. in Toronto. He also worked with Armstrong Ltd. of New York from 1926 to 1929, Greenshields Ltd. in Montreal and Regina, 1929 to 1933 and for Brinton Carpets in Toronto, Montreal and Peterborough 1933-1965
