KING, Barbara Lorraine (nee Chant) - Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston at the age of 84. Beloved wife of Bruce for 60 years and loving mother to sons William and Robert (Christine) and daughter Patricia (Rolland) Selkirk. Forever remembered by her grandsons Bradley (Kayley) and Ryan (Irina), loving Nana to Mikayla and Alexander and proud great- grandmother to Damien and Natalia. Dear sister of Gwendolyn Usher and late brother-in-law Douglas. Barbara will be lovingly remembered by nieces Wendy (Gordon) Weiss and Mary Ann (James) Butler and nephews Gregory (Ann) Usher, Jeffrey (Jacqueline) Usher and Bruce (Mary Ann) McNea, all other family and friends. Barbara was born and raised in Toronto, lived in Whitby, Windsor, Burlington, Ottawa and then for 15 years in Calgary before returning home to southern Ontario. Barbara worked tirelessly alongside Bruce in their business while raising a family with great devotion. Her exceptional generosity and kindness will be remembered by all those who had the privilege to know her. She will always be loved and may she rest in peace. Visitation will be held on January 20 at 11 a.m. at the W. John Thomas Funeral Home, 244 Victoria Street East, Alliston, Ontario.
