Seven children listed in census: Murdoch, Donald A., John W., Neil, Jessie Ann, Kenneth, James A. Jr. Also listed in household is Catherine Morrison at 78 years of age.
Cumberland County 1881 Census for Amherst shows her age as 56; 1891 census as age 61; 1901 census as 70 years old.

OBITUARY:
The funeral of Mrs. James Morrison, Senior which took place yesterday afternoon from her late residence on Victoria Street was very largely attended. Rev. W.E. Bates officiated at the house and grave. The pall bearers were Messrs Daniel McLeod, John McKeen, Hiram Pugsley, C.M. Trueman, Alex. Murray and W.J. Fisher.
