William married Carrie Sharpe, daughter of Joseph Robert Sharpe and Olivia Keith, on 9 Jul 1914. (Carrie Sharpe was born on 26 Apr 1896 in Campbellton, New Brunswick, died on 20 Jan 1973 in Campbellton, New Brunswick and was buried in Campbellton Rural Cemetery, N.B..)
