Died On Friday the 12 inst the beloved wife of R. Aylsworth Esq of Odessa aged 57 years and 10 months. The deceased was the daughter of Isaac Fraser Esq who for many years held the Registry office ofFrontenac Lennix and Addington. She was born in the township of Eamistown on the 13 of May 1811 and united in marriage with Robert Aylsworth in the month of April 1829. With hirn she commenced the hardship of a farmers wife on a woodland in a log cabin near the silvery strearn of Odessa rivulet. After enduring the true womanly heroisrn, the trials, the toils and the cares of a wife and mother for nearly 40 years, she quietly sank to rest bidding adeau to her weeping husband and the eldest and youngest daughters, wh sorrow stricken and alone were witnessing the ravage of her last energy. She leaves a husband and 10 children to morm her loss and a large circle of relatives and neighbors by which she was weil respected and much beloved. The funeral service was conducted in the W. K. Church in Odessa, which was crowded to its utmost capacity, on Thursday the 18 inst. The Rev. Mr Casson, Preached an eloquent and relevant discourse frorn Revelations 7 Chapter 13-14 verses "What are these which are arrayed in white robes? And whence corne they? And I said onto hirn' Sir thou knowest -and he said onto me These are which corne out of a great tribulation and have washed there robes and made them white in the blood of the larnb"
In the ciosing remarks the Rev, gentleman said that after an aquaintence of nearly 3 years with the deceased he had found her to be a woman possessing more then ordinary intelligence, kind hearted and attentive to the wants ot others so much so that he doubted that she ever had any energy in the world. She had been in the enjoyment of the blessing of perfect love for many years and testified that her deep devotion and rich experience enabled her to speack in religious meetings ‚that it was a source af great spiritual profit to all that heard her.

Hannah married Rev. Robert Aylsworth, son of Bowen L. Aylesworth and Hannah Perry, in Apr 1829. (Rev. Robert Aylsworth was born on 20 Aug 1805 and died in 1888 in Lennox & Addington County, Ontario.)
